DRAMATIC pictures and video footage of the Ealing warehouse fire have just emerged.
These pictures, taken by Ealing Times reader Reuben Thompson, show flames pouring from the top of the industrial complex in Park Royal yesterday (Wednesday, August 29) as crowds look on.
Video footage, contributed by Ealing Times reader Vesa Haapanen, captures smoke billowing into the sky, forming a column visible in Watford.
The warehouse buildings on Standard Road are now a smouldering shell, gutted by the blaze, which started in Sherry's Wholesalers, a makeup seller, stocking large quantities of aerosols.
At its peak, 100 firefighters were on the scene trying to contain the blaze, as acrid black smoke engulfed the surrounding area.
