Brent Council has issued another reminder for people to enter its wildlife photography competition.
It launched the competition in July to showcase the borough’s abundant wildlife and encouraged as many keen photographers as possible to enter.
The deadline for entries is midnight on September 23 and they can be easily submitted on the council’s website.
Cllr Krupa Sheth, responsible for the environment at Brent Council, said: “We have been very lucky with the warm weather this summer so there’s no better time to get involved with the competition.
“We want residents to share with us their lovely photos of wildlife they have come across in Brent – whether that’s in their back gardens or in our open spaces.”
The only entry requirement is that the photos must have been taken somewhere in the borough.
The winner will be announced in October. The top adult entry will receive a £100 photography voucher and the under 18s winner will be given £40 worth of London Designer Outlet vouchers.
Pictures that are “highly commended”, as well as the winners, will be showcased in the council’s magazine.
