A 64-year-old man suffered a serious spine injury after he was kicked off his bicycle in a "nasty attack".
On May 30, the elderly man was cycling along Bushey Mill Lane when he tried to avoid another man cycling toward him. He was kicked off his bike before the attacker cycled away.
The incident happened just before 5pm and the offender is described as a white male.
The elderly victim was hospitalised with spinal injuries and is still receiving medical care.
Detective Constable, Matt Cox, said: “This was a nasty attack which left the victim with a serious spinal injury. He was taken to hospital, where he is still receiving treatment.
“I am appealing for anyone who might have seen what happened, or saw the offender, to get in touch.
“I’d like people to take a look at the image of the victim’s bicycle – if you remember seeing the victim riding this, do you remember seeing the incident?"
