YOUNG music students from the Uxbridge area gave a boost to dementia charity Lost Chord with a concert of classical favourites.
The concert, at Ickenham United Reformed Church, featured children as young as seven and through to their teens.
Their programme included pieces from Clementi and Shostakovich, with extra music and poetry written for the evening by event organiser Suzanne Munro.

There was also a section of the evening for the youngsters to play their own compositions.
Lost Chord chief executive Helena Muller said: “The money raised will go directly towards our programme of professional concerts in care homes and day centres around the country, providing vital interactive musical experiences for people living with dementia.
“It really is inspiring to hear of young people playing such wonderful music and choosing to support a charity which has music at its heart.”
