HALO Children’s Foundation, based in Hillingdon, has been benefiting from a series of fund-raising events held by or featuring staff from into Uxbridge shopping centre.
HALO supports children and their families dealing with bereavement.
intu staff members Natasha House, Angela Vieira and Tina Axe took part in the Barra Hall Park 5K sponsored walk, raising £251.
Security officer James Bruen took part in a cycle ride from Dover to Calais – no mean feat! - completing the ride in seven hours with no training. He raised £90 for HALO.

Hayes and Yeading Football Club have also chosen HALO as their chosen charity of the year and donated a £250 cheque before one of their home matches.
HALO will be teaming up with Hayes and Yeading to run ‘football kick’ at The Piazza in intu Uxbridge in July.
Uxbridge College and HALO have also been working closely together after the college donated an area of its gardens for an after school club.
Into staff have donated bags of toys for children using the club.
