DETECTIVES are returning to the scene of a fatal stabbing in Ruislip this evening (22) to renew their appeal for information. It will be one week since the incident.


They will be at the junction of West Mead and Angus Drive from 8-10pm to hopefully speak with any witnesses following the murder of 20-year-old Osam Shidane, of Ruislip.


He received stab injuries in Victoria Road and died on Friday evening in hospital.

People in the area at the time may recall the air ambulance being called.


Det Chief Insp Paul Healy said: "Efforts continue to establish exactly what happened in the lead-up to this violent attack in which Osman suffered several stab wounds.

"I am particularly keen to hear from anyone who was driving in the area of Victoria Road between 8.30 and 9.30 on the night of Osman's murder and may have dash cam footage that can assist us.


"I also appeal directly to those people in the community who know what took place, or recorded the incident on their mobile phone, to get in touch if they haven't done so already, to help us give Osman's family the justice they deserve."

A 16-year-old boy was charged with murder on Saturday.


A  girl of 15, who was arrested on suspicion of assisting an offender, has been released on police bail.
