AN Ealing firm is shortlisted for the Small Awards in the legacy best family business category.
Lunn Antiques and Mini Lunn have family at the heart of the business.
Director Lizzie James grew up in Ealing, went to school there and is now bringing up her three children in the town.
Lunn Antiques was started in 1976 by her parents, Stephen and Juliet Lunn, who began selling vintage clothing. They realised that vintage-inspired cotton nightwear sold well and in 1981 had a centre page splash in Vogue magazine, making their little Fulham shop particularly popular.

Lizzie founded Mini Lunn when her daughter, Molly, was born in 2004. All of the children’s nightwear is vintage-inspired, with fun-themed embroidery of pirates and butterflies.
They have also recently started a men's pyjama range with matching children’s. Nightwear can be personalised.
The Small Awards, now in their second year, give a platform for small businesses and celebrate their achievements and accomplishments. There are 12 categories and winners will be announced on May 17.
