A night of knife crime saw two men badly injured in separate incidents within a short distance of one another, barely two hours apart.


Police were called to the first incident in Oldfield Circus, Northolt at approximately 22.50pm on March 22.


Police and ambulance crew attended the scene where they discovered a 19-year-old man with a wound to his leg. 


The man was shortly after taken to hospital for injuries which were reported as ‘non-life threatening’.


In a second incident on March 23, police were called to Field End Road, Northolt by the London Ambulance Service at 00.30am.


They arrived on the scene to discover a 20-year-old man with a ‘life-changing injury’ following an attack with a machete.


The man was taken to a West London hospital for treatment and remains in a stable condition.


The two incidents occurred within two hours of another and not a ten minute drive apart. Police said it is unknown whether the two incidents are related. 


Police said of both incidents that no arrests have been made and that enquiries are ongoing.
