EALING Blues Festival will be brought to a climax on Sunday, July 22, by The Counterfeit Stones.

The original Rolling Stones met and were formed in 1962 at the legendary Ealing Blues Club, so the booking of the leading tribute band pays homage to their links with Ealing.

Hailed by Mick Jagger as "the most famous Stones band in England", they come equipped with classic hits, retro costume and humour to entertain audiences of all ages.

They are renowned for their wild energy and mirror-like performances of the Stones’ epic repertoire.

They will be joined by rocking roots band Kitty, Daisy & Lewis, fresh off the back of their fourth studio album Superscope in September, psychedelic classic rock group Perfect Blue Sky and the sultry Kareña K Band, among others.

Since its inception in 1987, Ealing Blues Festival has gone on to be London’s longest running Blues Festival and the only one which promotes artists at a grass roots level.

It will take place on July 21-22 in Walpole Park. Its contribution to blues music has recently been recognised by UK Blues who have nominated the event for best Blues Based Festival of the Year.

Tickets go on sale here today (Wednesday).
