THE Park, in Ealing, a half-acre site, has been sold for £5.4m by West London University as a site for eight four-bedroom houses.
The high-spec homes will be built by Lusso Homes, which already has planning permission.
Andrew White, of Colliers International, which advised on the deal, said: “Investment opportunities in such a prime London location are becoming harder to find.”

Neil Jones, of Lusso Homes, added: “As one of London’s greenest boroughs, Ealing has been an attractive, long-term destination for families since being named ‘Queen of the Suburbs’ in the 1880s.
“The leafy streets and Victorian properties make the area a welcome retreat from urban pressures.
“For young professionals, the buzzing restaurants and bars, festivals and art groups also offer plenty of entertainment.”
