Roads and Transport detectives have released an image of a man they wish to speak to in connection with a sexual assault onboard a bus in Uxbridge. 

The assault occurred on Tuesday, 17 January at around 08:20hrs on a Route 607 bus as it drove from Lees Road, Hayes towards Uxbridge Town Centre.

The victim, a 22-year-old woman, boarded a crowded bus at Lees Road in Hayes and was stood by the driver's cab at the front of the bus.

During her journey she felt the suspect stroke the top of her leg. The suspect continued to do this for several seconds until the victim was able to try and move away. The suspect then went on to touch the victim's bottom, which again lasted for several seconds.

The suspect eventually got off the bus at a bus stop in York Road, Uxbridge.

Detectives from the Met's Roads and Transport Policing Command (RTPC) are investigating.

The suspect is described as of Arabian or North African appearance, aged in his 30s, around 5ft 8ins tall with short dark hair. He was described as wearing a light blue fleece.
