A Greenford seven year old boy had the ultimate birthday surprise when a popular children’s double act turned up to celebrate his big day.

Daniel Lee, from Greenford, was nominated by his mum, Kim, in a national competition with Wacky Warehouse to win a birthday party with CBBC’s Dick and Dom.

The play centre received hundreds of entries from across the UK, all hoping to be in with a chance of winning this once in a lifetime prize.

Daniel’s party took place at The Ballot Box Wacky Warehouse in Greenford, where unbeknown to Daniel, the BAFTA award-winning duo were waiting in the wings to surprise the birthday boy and his guests for a party he would never forget.

Dick and Dom brought out his birthday cake, much to Daniel’s delight – and the whole thing was caught on camera.

Kim Neville said: “I was so pleased when I heard Daniel was the winner and couldn’t wait to see his face when his heroes, Dick and Dom, surprised him at his party.

“Daniel has been working so hard at school recently, so he really deserved a birthday treat. His party is the talk of the school and he hasn’t stopped smiling since!”

Dick said: “We were delighted Wacky Warehouse asked us to be a part of Daniel’s birthday. We had a great time and hope he did too.”

Dom added: “We had a brilliant time at Daniel’s party and the look on his face when he saw us was priceless! We hope it was a birthday to remember!”
