A Hounslow man has pleaded guilty to numerous criminal damage offences, including 11 offences of religiously aggravated criminal damage.

Michael Dew, 65, of Ede Close, Hounslow, pleaded guilty at Uxbridge Magistrates' Court on Tuesday, April 18.

He has been bailed for sentencing at Isleworth Crown Court on May 16.

Dew was charged on March 24 with 16 offences - eleven offences of racially or religiously aggravated criminal damage and five offences of criminal damage.

The offences are alleged to have occurred between 7 December 2015 and 1 February 2016 and involved graffiti and other material of a racially and religiously inflammatory nature being placed in the central area of Hounslow.

Dew was arrested on 4 February 2016 and subsequently charged as above.
