To celebrate Mother’s Day, Ealing Broadway is inviting local mums to a free networking event this Thursday co-hosted by Monique McGoey-Rabone, founder of The Mother-Hood.

Taking place at Marks & Spencer from 6pm until 8pm, local mums will receive a goody bag packed with treats from the Body Shop, Clas Ohlson and Marks & Spencer.

Complimentary nibbles, wine and a free manicure courtesy of Marks & Spencer Health and Beauty team will also be on offer for all guests.

Monique McGoey-Rabone, founder of The Mother-Hood, said: “As a working mum, I know how challenging it can be to find time to relax and network with mums in the local area - that’s why I set up the Mother-Hood, to help connect mums both in Ealing and across London.

“Celebrating Mums will be a great platform for networking and building relationships with other mums in the local area.

“As next Thursday is set to be an exciting launch, I’m really looking forward to hearing from local mums at Ealing Broadway.”

The free event marks the launch of Celebrating Mums, a series of talks hosted at Ealing Broadway, starting this spring and running throughout the year. Monique of The Mother-Hood will be on hand to discuss the new talks with local mums throughout the evening.

Designed to inspire local mums in the community, each Celebrating Mums talk will be hosted by The Mother-Hood at Ealing Broadway and will cover a range of topics including returning to work, health and fitness and following into the footsteps of local entrepreneurs.

Andrew Rollings, centre director at Ealing Broadway, said: “We look forward to welcoming local mothers next Thursday, in what’s set to be the start of an exciting series of events into Spring and beyond.

“Working with The Mother-Hood will be great because it gives us an opportunity to celebrate mothers in the local community.

“We hope this ‘Celebrating Mums’ series helps mothers network at a time that’s convenient for them.”
