The February holiday was full of free foodie fun at intu Uxbridge as young shoppers joined in with cookery events and workshops.

Creative juices were flowing from Monday 13 to Friday 17 February, as cookery Kids’ Club events took place each day.

The free entertainment included cooking masterclasses and tasting with Wagamama’s top chefs, colouring challenges, fun at the selfie station with their own chef hats plus the chance to learn about food and dishes from countries across the world.

Natasha House, Marketing Manager at intu Uxbridge, said: “We were thrilled to welcome so many younger shoppers to intu Uxbridge for lots of foodie fun this February Half Term.

“More than 70 per cent of our guests have young families, so it was great to hear from them what they’d like to see during the school holidays and make it arrive in-centre!”

The cookery theme was chosen after the shopping centre asked local families and children how they most wanted to fill their free time.

Cookery was chosen by classmates of intu Heads of Fun, Esther 10, Logan 7 and Aidan 8, Lucie 7 with the youngest members of their teams tasked with keeping the shopping centres fun and child friendly.
