HUNDREDS of residents braved the stormy conditions for a party in the park on Sunday.
Crowds at the event in Pitshanger Park, Ealing, were entertained with music, dancing, a staging of Thoroughly modern Millie and a dog show.
Children took part in a football competition, a "Pitzhanga Popstar" singing contest and got to ride on a 100-year-old carousel.
A "gastrodome" was set up were local traders provided food and drink for the families.
The day, now in its eighth year was sponsored by John Martin Estates and children's activities company Fit for Sport.
Money raised form the £1 admission fee will be dontated towards Pitshanger Community Association projects and other local causes.
