Which dental practice was slammed for being too focused on sales and who had to wait more than a month for an emergency appointment?

The worst rated dentists in Harrow have been revealed, based on patient reviews on NHS Choices.

Whitehouse Dental Practice, Kenton Lane, Harrow

Rating: 1 star

One person felt “fobbed off” after visiting the dentist with a toothache and being told they were grinding their teeth in their sleep, so should buy a mouth guard. They were also unimpressed with being charged £50 for a filling in their wisdom tooth and then having to pay a further £50 for aftercare.

Another commenter simply said they had a “pathetic experience” after an x-ray didn’t determine the cause of pain in the left side of their mouth.

Patel Mr M J, Station Road, Harrow

Rating: 1 star

This dental surgery was branded “disappointing” by reviewers, particularly due to the customer service. One person said they were given “no respect” and another was annoyed after trying to book an appointment on a Saturday, but was told weekends were for private patients online, rather than those on the NHS.

Eastcote Dental Practice, Field End Road, Pinner

Rating: 2 stars

One person declared: “Avoid if you have toothache”, while someone else was not happy with having to wait at least two weeks for an “emergency” appointment. When they were eventually seen, they realised they were only there for a check-up and so had to make another appointment for the following month in order to get their problem fixed.

Dental Care Centre, Preston Road, Kenton

Rating: 3 stars

The Dental Care Centre was slammed for being “money minded”. One person said they were banned from having appointments on Saturdays, which were deemed the most “valuable” times, after missing their scheduled slot due to suffering a broken jaw and memory loss.

Another person simply added: “I liked nothing. Avoid”.
