Harrow’s own Business Improvement District (BID) has planned spooky entertainment for families this Halloween.

The BID programme was created in 2013, with plans to invest £1.8m into Harrow until 2018.

This year Harrow’s town centre will be transformed on Saturday October 29, with a variety of activities planned from 11-4pm.

A trick or treat trail will lead children across the centre, and they can pick up a map from the marquee in St Anns Road.

Children can try bobbing for apples at 12 noon, or try a tastier donut bobbing game at 1pm.

Mummy wrapping will start at 2pm and the winner of this year’s fancy dress competition will be judged at 3pm.
Organizers have planned Halloween games, competitions and family craft workshops.

Chief Executive at Harrow Town Centre BID, Andy Stubbs, said: “With our recent Easter and Summer events causing a stir in the town and increasing footfall during the past few months we thought Halloween was the perfect opportunity to continue fun with some classic creepy entertainment!

“Halloween is such a fun, family and community-filled holiday we hope the whole town will come together to make this a truly spook-tacular Harroween.”
