A CONTROVERSIAL box junction could be removed following complaints from angry drivers.
Motorists, who have described the junction between Ruislip Road and Mansell Road as a "cash cow", say they have been unfairly issued with fines.
But at the Greenford Area Committee on Tuesday Ealing Council leader Jason Stacey said the box junction would be reviewed.
Cllr Stacey (Con, Greenford green) said: "This box junction has actually been in existence for some time now and it is only in the past few months that the enforcement work has been undertaken.
"While this enforcement activity was perfectly proper, it cannot be denied that certain aspects of this junction are causing real concern among local residents.
"If a box junction is going to be there then it should be enforced but we are taking this action to enable a sensible look to be taken before a final decision is made".
The enforcement of the box junction will be suspended while the review takes place.
The findings will be reported to the Greenford Area Committee in September.
