Two fly-tippers from Harrow claimed they had stopped in a country lane to have a wee – despite being caught on camera chucking their rubbish away.
Philip William Cash, 65, and son Martin Jude Cash, 28, both of Alexandra Avenue, Harrow, were snapped dumping the waste in a country lane in Chalfont St Peter, Bucks, in March.
The pair were tracked down by their vehicle registration number but when questioned by police they protested their innocence, despite being shown images showing them fly-tipping from a surveillance camera.
They did admit to stopping at the location but said they only did so to have a wee.

They eventually plead guilty to offences of dumping waste illegally at Wycombe Magistrates’ Court on August 3.
Each man was ordered to pay more than £800 in clean-up and prosecution costs.
Buckinghamshire councillor Mike Smith said: “The pictures say it all - this was thoroughly blatant dumping by these men in a quiet lane. Their decision to dump their waste in public proved an expensive one - to say nothing of their criminal records. Hopefully this has been a lesson learnt.”
