SCORES of happy families took to leafy Walpole Park for Ealing Blues Festival last weekend.

The funky vibes of the 70s music and culture accompanied by good food and drink bought together young and old on July 16.

People from across the park were attracted to the main stage where music blared out of the huge tent headlined by The Paul Cox Band.

A love of good music was evident as Kat & Co and Stellify performed to crowds cheering and dancing.

Far Q and Tom Ivey were not to be missed on the South Stage, where adoring fans sang along word for word to their favourite acts.

Other performers included multiple British Blues Awards nominee Zoe Schwarz, dynamic Afro-Blues unit Ramon Goose and Desert Rock.

The Laura Holland Band closed the South Stage in style with a set enjoyed by all.

This year was the 30th Blues Festival, which has been run and programmed by Bob Salmons of the Ealing Club since its inception in 1987.
