ACTON based pop-electro duo MissDefiant release their new anti-glamorization of drugs single today.

The girl band have named their single 133T after the gamer way of writing elite, which refers to the upper echelons of hipster nightlife.

Producer Mike Tournier has helped the girls create catchy electronic riffs as a vehicle for their messages.

Singer Emily Rose Adams, 24, said: “In most of our songs we spread the word to be more defiant.

“We have a commercial sound and try to push limits with our writing using our personal experience.”

Emily and music partner Jordan Cather, both classically trained singers and dancers, teamed up after training at Millennium Performing Arts in Woolwich.

The girls say they are passionate about performing and have been described as having ‘insane energy’ at their gigs.

They are yet to showcase their talents in Ealing but Emily said she would love to do a gig there.

They aim to release an album of dance tunes in the summer, plus a smaller record of acoustic, stripped-back versions.

They are headlining a band night at The Water Rat at Kings Cross Station on Tuesday April 19 and their songs are available on Spotify and iTunes.
