A PEDESTRIAN is in hospital in a critical condition after a hit and run in Acton last night.
Detectives are appealing for witnesses after a silver Ford Galaxy failed to stop at the scene of a serious collision in The Vale at about 8pm.
A 53-year-old man hit by the car was taken by ambulance to a west London hospital, where he was described early this morning as in a critical condition.
The driver of the Ford drove off towards Hammersmith. He is described as a black man in his 20s.
The car sustained damage to the passenger side wing mirror.
Officers from the Serious Collision Investigation Unit at Alperton are investigating.
