AN Ealing photographer is showing off his award-winning work at Ealing Broadway coffee shop Artisan.
Phil Hatcher, who lives in West Ealing, held his first public exhibition in Sao Paulo, Brazil three years ago, after working with the Guyanese Tourism Authority taking photos of the rainforest.
His latest offering, called London Perspectives, gives contrasting views of the capital and its inhabitants, exploring the highs and lows of life in the city.
Mr Hatcher, 39, said: “My favourite photo of the exhibition is a portrait of a local man whose hard life is written into his features.”
No Sleep for Two Years, as it is called, won the photographer the City Lit 2015 Portrait competition in April.
Also featured among the eight photos displayed are St Paul's, the National Gallery and a view of the River Thames from above Tower Bridge.
London Perspectives runs until October 18. Artisan is open 7.30am-5.30pm Monday to Friday and 8.30am-5.30pm at the weekend.
