ENTHUSIASTS will have a spring in their step this summer when Oxygen Freejumping, London’s first trampoline park, opens in Kendal Avenue, West Acton, on Monday, July 20.

Children and adults will literally be bouncing off the walls in the vast centre, which offers hour-long freejumping sessions with access to dodgeball courts, air bags, “walk the wall trampolines” and an obstacle course.

There also family sessions, fitness classes in the park, a trampolining academy for aspiring gymnasts and Teen Takeovers, which include two hours of strobe-lit bouncing with a live DJ.

If Parkour and Freerunning are more your style, then Oxygen will teach you to treat any landscape as your playground.

A mezzanine level overlooking the main freejumping area will offer a café for parents to relax, with free wi-fi, home-made pizza and coffee.

There is also a selection of private rooms for children’s parties, while the park will be open to schools for PE lessons and after-school clubs.

Firmsand sports clubs are also invited to use to the venue for team bonding with a difference.

The venue is London’s first trampoline park and will create 50 new jobs in the area, with applications now being taken for court monitors, receptionists, trampoline instructors and food and beverage staff.

The launch will be on Thursday, July 16, at Kendal Avenue, and it will open to the public on Monday, July 20.

The park will then be open from 8am-10pm Monday to Saturday and 8am-9pm on Sundays.
