SHOPPERS at Ealing Broadway Centre’s spring festival at the weekend helped Marie Curie Cancer Care raise £2,215.
The event was launched by Alison Hammond, showbiz reporter from ITV’s This Morning.
She introduced an array of music acts from Indian dancers to country and folk bands and even stopped for a selfie or two with shoppers.
Visitors were able roll up their sleeves and take part in spring flower arranging with the Oaktree Flower Club while receiving gardening advice.
Further activities are set to take place this weekend.
Children are invited to use their imagination in a series of arts and crafts workshops from 11am- 4pm on Friday and 10am-4pm on Saturday.
If they fancy something more adventurous, they can take part in the centre’s free Easter egg hunt between 10am and 4pm on Saturday.
All Easter events are free, though donations are accepted for The Log Cabin, an Ealing charity that supports children and young people with disabilities.
