EALING will join 19 other boroughs at the London Youth Games at Crystal Palace National Sports Centre on March 24.
These are the biggest annual youth games in Europe, with more than 125, 000 young Londoners taking part last year.
Schools such as Greenford High School and Drayton Manor will figure prominently in the 31 sports, including football, athletics, swimming and cricket.
Team Ealing will be looking to consolidate its position as a strong boys’ cricket and basketball contender, while aiming to improve on their 2014 showing in cycling and diving.
Women’s Rugby World Cup winner Maggie Alphonsi is a former participant and will act as patron of the games this year.
