MOUTH-WATERING food from around the world will be on offer at Ealing Broadway Shopping Centre on February 27.

Eat Me Drink Me, a collaboration of food, drink and event experts, will feature established and guest street food traders.

They will serve up tasty dishes from £5 in the centre’s town square in a regular Friday attraction.

Founder Kate McKenzie, 42, of Madeley Road, said: “I love Ealing, but one of the things I think it’s missing is street food.

“Most areas of London have street food markets, but not Ealing, so I felt it was time to rectify that.

“Working at home I miss being able to grab some street food - to head down to one of the many markets and either get my usual or try something new.

“Markets are great ways to bring a community together. Eating has always been a time when families and friends come together.”

Foodies can look forward to delights from traders including: Pulled (slow-roasted pulled meats), The Cheese Truck (toasted cheese), Prairie Fire BBQ (Kansas City BBQ), Route 66 Streetfood (burritos, nachos and tacos) and Monkshood Coffee, alongside local set-ups SUD Italia (Neopolitan pizzas) and Meat Heads (tasty balls of meat).

Kate and her team are currently in talks for a monthly Sunday market in the area.
