POLICE and council have shut down a ‘crack house’ in Southall following complaints from residents.
Ealing magistrates approved a three-month closure for the garage in Regina Road. Anyone caught entering faces arrest.
Officers visited several times and found evidence of drug-taking, discarded drugs equipment and, on one occasion, discovered someone injecting themselves with heroin.
Neighbours had also reported discarded needles, used condoms and broken crack pipes around the garage.
Cllr Ranjit Dheer, cabinet member for community services, said: “Residents’ help played a vital role in getting this garage closed down and putting an end to the misery they have been suffering.”
