STAGECOACH Ealing has launched its first teenage-only class, which was full within a day.

The teenagers are treated as young professionals, taking them to a more advanced level in their performances.

The class aims to continue developing performing art skills through more advanced dance, singing and acting training in new master classes.

The three disciplines are covered in more depth, to build ‘triple threat’ performers, able to dance, sing and act.

Prveious Further Stages students have gone on to study at theatre and drama schools, including RADA, LAMDA, Guildhall, Mountview, Italia Conti and Arts Educational .

New teacher Amy Lennox comes straight from the West End. She was in theatre productions of The Sound of Music, Legally Blonde, 9 to 5, Peter Pan, the Secret Garden and Soho Cinders, as well as appearing alongside Carey Mulligan in the film Never Let Me Go.

She will be teaching pupils aged 13-17.

In other news from Stagecoach Ealing, Hobbayne Primary School student Daphi Berman-Roth is taking part in a production of Othello at the London Coliseum.

Daphi, 9, will perform with the English National Opera in front of 2,500 people. She has been a student at Stagecoach for six years.

Bruce Kiryu, who joined Stagecoach Ealing four years ago, has been accepted into Arts Educational Performing Arts School in Chiswick out of several hundred youngsters who auditioned.
