A PUBLIC exhibition is to be held in Acton tomorrow (Saturday) over the future of the Carphone Warehouse offices at One Portal Way.
Carphone Warehouse has recently merged with Dixons to form a new company, Dixons Carphone, which is now looking for a larger office space in the North Acton area.
The exhibition will be held at the Holiday Inn Park Royal, Victoria Road, from 11am-4pm and will explore options when One Portal Way becomes available.
Matt Mason, of One Portal Way owners Crosstree Real Estate Partners, says the exhibition will secure the site’s long term future.
He said: “We believe there is an exciting opportunity to create a new part of the neighbourhood.
“We would really like to hear the thoughts of local communities on the significant benefits this could bring to North Acton, including new homes, shops and community facilities.”
Carphone Warehouse employ 1300 at their Acton office and will look to move all of its staff to newly-built offices in the immediate vicinity of North Acton station.
There will be a second exhibition on Monday from 2-8pm.
