TWITTER tributes have poured in for murdered Hanwell teenager Alice Gross.
Londoner Sophie Ryder said: “such sad news about Alice Gross, thoughts are with her family at this terrible time.”
A Twitter user, known online as Sonam, said: “R.I.P Alice Gross. My heart goes out to her family and friends. #sotragic.”
The tragedy has hit close to home for many Ealing residents who have taken to Twitter to make their heartfelt condolences.
Emma Bradley tweeted: “She lived 10 minutes away from me and we had mutual friends. She was so talented and it makes me so sad that someone’s done this.”
Ealing nursery, Pitshanger Playhouse, posted a simple tribute on their page: “No words, just sadness. #AliceGross.”
Another Ealing user, whose screen name is Champion Lagboat, said: “R.I.P Alice Gross, Hanwell will never forget you. Thoughts are with her family.”
Tributes were not confined to London, and users from all over the UK sent heartfelt messages of support to Alice’s family.
David Titterington, from York, tweeted: “Sympathies go out to the family of Alice Gross, this must be a very testing time, one can only imagine what they are going through.”
A user named Maria Maguire tweeted: “Sleep tight sweet angel Alice x.”
