TODDLERS took part in a sponsored walk to raise money which will provide clean water and sanitation to some of the world’s poorest children.
Toddle for Water involved walking to and from the park as part of their annual Grandparents Day.
The children, from Cheeky Chums day nursery in Pinner, raised more than £75 for WellFound, a Greenford-based charity which guarantees that 100% of all donations is spent directly on its projects.
Sarah Berry, events co-ordinator at WellFound, said: “The money will help our work in villages in Guinea Bissau.”
She said the building of a well would not only save lives through providing clean water but would also enable children to attend school instead of spending their time collecting water from elsewhere.
WellFound would like to carry out similar events at other schools and nurseries in the area.
