BOOKINGS are now open for Ealing Council's summer holiday play schemes.

Based at sites across the borough, the schemes are affordable and run by experienced and qualified staff.

The play schemes run for four weeks in the summer holidays and children can stay from 8.30am- 5.45pm.

The fee is £70 per child per week (£65 for siblings) or £16 per day. Children must attend for a minimum of two days.

Payment can be made by using the new online payment system at www.ealing.gov.uk/pay or by cheque or debit card. The play service also accepts childcare vouchers.

Children take part in organised games, crafts and activities, as well as being given the opportunity to relax and play freely with old friends and new ones.

Staff also organise day trips to venues such as local parks, the cinema and bowling. This year, the play schemes will run from Monday, July 28 to Friday, August 22.

Parents can choose from the following venues:

Twyford Sports Centre, Acton (8-12 years old)

Dairy Meadow Primary School, Southall (5-12)

St Gregory’s Primary School, Ealing (5-12)

Ken Acock Youth Centre, Northolt (5-12)

Hobbayne Primary School, Hanwell (5-12).
