THE Ark of Noah Bilingual nursery in Ealing has won an award for being a top recommended nursery in London.

The nursery, in Michael Simons Hall, Lynton Avenue, whose staff can all speak at least one additional language with one speaking three extra languages, came sixth out of 1,629 nurseries in the London region.

The top ten London nurseries received an award from online directory and industry website daynurseries.co.uk

The award was based on the nursery’s online recommendations from parents.

The director of daynurseries.co.uk, Davina Ludlow, said: “We felt the best people to rate a day nursery were the people who really know its ins and outs; the parents, relatives, and guardians of the children who attend.

“Ark of Noah has proved that it is an excellent childcare setting and we’d like to congratulate them on being a top recommended nursery in London! It’s a great achievement.”

Ark of Noah Bilingual director Katie Shakerifar said: “We do most things with a European twist. We have mother tongue French speakers who speak to the children in French, alongside English.

"Because we teach French, the children celebrate many other European traditions as well as English ones and subsequently they get a taste of European culture.”
