AN Ealing actress performing in King Lear will begin her new classes for parents and young children on June 2.

Mother-of-two Grace Willis, 26, aims to use her performing arts background to stimulate and nurture creativity in the young minds of babies and toddlers.

Grace’s classes feature two monkey puppets, Lilly and Larry, after whom she has named the class.

Grace said: “You will notice how this class contributes to the development of your child’s confidence and personality.”

It begins with a welcome song and later features nursery rhymes and sensory objects which include musical instruments and puppets.

Grace is already involved in classes across Ealing nurseries and will now open her high-energy music and movement classes to the public.

Frances de Vivenot, manager of Cybertots at Copley Close Children's Centre in Hanwell, said: “The children love her variety of tones and tempo and her imaginative interpretation of each theme of the week.”

Grace started her classes after attending a Princes Trust business start-up course and continues to be supported by the Prince of Wales’ charity.

Lilly and Larry classes start from June 2, 9.45-10.30am, and will continue every Monday thereafter.

Classes are located near Ealing Broadway station at The Broadway Studio, 11 Springbridge Mews, Ealing, W5 2AB.

Prices are £7.90 for drop-in and £7.40 for a block of five classes or more. Every child is offered a free trial. Booking is recommended.
