AN Ealing man and BBC television journalist is running the London Marathon for the second time.
Stephen Sackur is lacing up his running shoes to raise money for Just a Drop, which provide access to clean water in some of the world’s poorest and neglected communities.
In 2010, Stephen, a former foreign correspondent and presenter of BBC World’s flagship currents affairs programme, HARDtalk, first ran the marathon for the charity.
“Just a Drop’s strategy is beautifully simple – helping some of the world’s poorest and most neglected communities gain access to the most important resource of all, water,” Stephen said.
“The least I can do is help them to help so many others – that’s a thought which will spur me on.”
