EVERYONE Active Southall Sports Centre is hosting a free open day for the community on Saturday to celebrate completion of £500,000 of improvement work.
Activities will include group cycling sessions, exercise classes, Bollywood dancing plus a bouncy castle and face painting for children from 10am-5pm. There will also be an opportunity to win prizes, including a £2,000 hamper.
The upgraded gym will include 76 exercise stations, including Power Plate machines and Wattbikes. A new group cycling studio has been added, while the women’s gym and free weights area have been extended.
Ealing Council leader Julian Bell said: “I hope this improved centre inspires people to get moving again and make the most of exercise facilities in their area.”
