PHOTO exhibitions, yoga sessions and empowering talks are just a few of the events happening around Ealing to mark International Women’s Day on March 8.
Greenford Northolt and Perivale Community Federation are putting on a week-long programme to celebrate women’s contributions within the community.
Starting from Monday, March 3, visitors will be able to drop into a number of free and ticketed events across the borough.
Jackie Sear, freelance consultant for Community Development Works, said: “This is a great opportunity for people to enjoy a range of activities for and about women.”
She added: “Women contribute a lot to our society and we felt this should be celebrated this year.”
