Boyzone heart-throb Keith Duffy helped to present a showcase of young talent in a day of creative fun for 'looked-after' children on Saturday.

The star hosted a fashion show at the Questors Theatre in Mattock Lane ,, one of the attractions of Ealing Social Services Outerlimits Day to encourage youngsters in care to fulfill their potential in education, music, arts and sports.

The teen idol advised fans on how to dress for interviews and and what to wear when celebrating and chilling out. He was accompanied by heavyweight boxer Julius Francis, 35, who highlighted the importance of transforming the traditional image of young people in care as under-achievers.

Youngsters at the event were asked to complete a questionnaire asking for their views on being in care. 'We were all able to share our ideas about what we want and need,' said 17-year-old Jody Saunders.
