Ealing residents are pressing the Mayor of London to overhaul the Tube zone pricing system, which they say is responsible for clogging up their roads with commuter cars around zone boundaries.
'If you live in Boston Manor, you can drive to South Ealing and save yourself a fortune on tickets every month,' said one resident, to applause, at the Ealing Area committee on Thursday last week.
Cllr Ian Green said he would be writing to Ealing and Hillingdon's GLA representative Richard Barnes, asking him to bring the issue to Ken Livingstone's attention.
