Star Wars favourites Darth Vader, R2D2, C3PO and Princess Leia were among an array of characters at Greenford Carnival on Saturday.
The annual event in Ravenor Park in Ruislip Road, which was opened by former That's Life presenter Doc Cox, included a tightrope performance, Punch and Judy shows, pony rides and a dog show.
Car enthusiasts enjoyed the display of classic cars and it also provided a platform for more than 100 charity stalls to promote their causes.
Mervyn Shepherdly, chairman of the carnival committee, which has been run by Greenford Rotary Club for three years, said proceeds from the 20 year-old event, which last year amounted to £1,600, were still being counted but would be divided between a number of local charities.
