richard barnes has now represented ealing & hillingdon on the GLA since it was created and he should now resign from Hillingdon Council immediatly.
Hillingdon council residents should put place on this mr "two jobs" - they pay him twice first in council allowances then in GLA allowances and this is not right. He should dedicate himself to either role
He opposes Heathrow expansion which is fair but he must also recognise that most of his constituents in Hillingdon & Ealing are dependent on the airport for jobs. He fails to recognise this.!

"most of his constituents in Hillingdon & Ealing are dependent on the airport for jobs"
I think not. It's a major employer but it's not the only employer.
It's time to re-think Heathrow and whether the environmental impact is worth all the hassle. Countless studies have shown that building a new airport would cost less and have lower footprint than expanding the traveller's hell-hole that is Heathrow.
Anyway, back on track.
Congratulations to Richard whose task I would hope will now be more effective with a Conservative mayor in power.
