A TEENAGER accused of burglary from a house in Greenford and the theft of a car has been released on bail.

The 17-year-old Haringey resident, who cannot be named for legal reasons, appeared at Acton Youth Court yesterday charged with burglary, aggravated vehicle taking, using a vehicle with no insurance and driving without a licence.

He is due to appear at Isleworth Crown Court on Monday, April 21.

Police were called to a home in Greenford Gardens, Greenford, in the early hours of Monday, February 11, when the owners heard people downstairs in the house.

A laptop computer, a games console and credit cards were taken, along with a BMW 530 which was parked in the driveway.
