Time for change.
If you cycle in London then you know Ken is certainly not your friend.
Hell the tube is a nightmare.

I read this morning that the Green party has urged its supporters to vote for Livingstone.
What a cop-out and probably more to do with preserving the well-paid Job of Jenny Jones (who was at one time a Green mayoral candidate).
Disgraceful.

I agree - Ken has made a real difference to London. His commitment to London, drive to make improvements a reality, vision and rapport with Londoners is unprecedented. Boris has none of these qualities. Only Ken has been brave enough to do what it takes to really tackle polution and congestion in London. He is recognised throughout the world for this. BORIS IS FULL OF EMPTY WORDS! [bold]unique'BUFFOON BORIS VERY BAD FOR LONDON![/bold] '

Tackle congestion! Traffic speeds across London are NO HIGHER than before the congestion charge. People are forced on to overcrowded tarins, tubes and buses. Livingstone has had eight years - enough is enough of this profligate man spending millions on spin and 'dead end' schemes.
Boris Johnson may, at times , have the demeanour of a buffoon but is erudite and will be a worthy ambassador for our city. If those civil servants who are reported as refusing to work with him do this then their supposed political imaprtiality is worthless and they should be removed WITHOUT COMPENSATION!

So, do you vote for Ken, someone who cares about London or someone who cares about appearing regularly on TV, in the papers, in the written word and at all the 'best places'?

Anyone who uses public transport daily in London knows that all the improvements have been aesthetic. All the fare increases are paying for new benches and a silly amount of speakers and CCTV cameras. The delays are getting worse not better.
8 years for this mess?
A fresh, non corrupt perspective is needed.

I agree with Stevey. A rediculous amount of money has been wasted by Ken on initiatives like bendy buses (slow moving and good for fare evaders), the tram, Ken's foreign trips, his £119,000 "race adviser", and so on.
What we need in Ealing is more trains, double-decker buses that don't take up large amounts of road space, as much support for crossrail as the mayor can provide, Ealing station buldozed and replaced by a larger capacity building, preferably with a decent bus station on top.
And most of all, Ealing needs a mayor who would never ever consider spending £100million+ on a slow-moving tram, then waste £3 million "researching it" before he's finally persuaded to back down.
