FOURWAYS Theatre Company is hoping its B25 Bomber will be ready in time for next week when they it brings Catch 22 to the stage.
The High Wycombe company has just achieved charitable status and is hoping its next show will be the best yet.
Director Phil Madelin asked set designer James Aitken to design and build the B25 bomber, which is shown in the picture.
The play is based on the book by Joseph Heller and follows Captain Yossarian, a US Army Air Force B25 bombardier, stationed on the Mediterranean island of Pianosa during World War Two.
After watching his friends die he seeks a means of escape. The pace is frenetic, its tenor intellectual and its humour largely absurd.
Catch 22 runs at the Wycombe Swan Town Hall from February 7-9 at 8pm.
Tickets are £14 (concs £12) from 01494 512000 or go to www.wycombeswan.co.uk
