Get footloose with Watford's Big Dance

Calling all dance groups... sign up and get footloose in Watford town centre on Saturday, July 12.

Dancers are invited to showcase their skills to the public as part of Big Dance, the national project developed two years ago by the GLA and Arts Council England to celebrate the popularity and diversity of dance.

The aim of Big Dance is to encourage everybody to enjoy dance either by by watching performances or taking part themselves. Groups will get the chance to promote their dance schools and classes.

Big Dance provides all participants with the opportunity to contribute to the biggest national celebration of dance yet. Whether you are a dance fan, a recent convert or just curious, Big Dance 2008 should have something for you.
