Success is calling for Hertfordshire-based band The Vaulted Skies as their music heads for television screens Stateside.
Legendary record producer John Ravenhall, who has worked with Sir Paul McCartney and Sting, has shortlisted some of their tracks for use in a number of US television productions that he is working on as music director.
“We’re not allowed to say too much at the moment,“ says founder and frontman James AJ Scott, “but it’s a thrilling prospect, considering that John gets something like 3,500 tracks sent to him every week!“
While awaiting news of where their songs will be heard, the band is heading back to home turf this weekend to headline the Live Music Project at Trestle Arts Base with a mix of post-punk/new-wave guitar tracks, massive dance tunes and epic soundscapes.
The line-up will feature support from The Neverists, Bright Conclusions and George Smith.
Trestle Arts Base, Russet Drive, St Albans, Saturday, June 28, doors 7.30pm. Details: thevaultedskies.com, trestle.org.uk
