Wilko Johnson
Guitar legend Wilko Johnson is among the latest performers added to the Sonisphere line-up.
Credited as a major influence for the English punk movement, this musical heavyweight last played Knebworth in 1978 with Frank Zappa, The Tubes and Peter Gabriel, and after being diagnosed with terminal pancreatic cancer has refused chemotherapy treatment so he can keep on playing live and record a final album with Roger Daltrey.
Also added to the bill are Electric Wizards, Dog Eat Dog, Anti-flag, Black Spiders, Brutality Will Prevail, Emp!re, Krokodil, Raging Speedhorn, Reckless Love, Stampin' Ground, Tesseract, The Defiled, The Hell, The Hype Theory and The Safety Fire.
