THIS Bank Holiday weekend the Ley Hill Music and Beer festival is taking place at The Swan and The Crown pubs in Ley Hill (near Chesham).
The three day festival starting tomorrow (Saturday) will see 11 bands play with more than 60 real ales and cider on offer. There will also be a pig roast and BBQ and the usual menus at both pubs.
The music will start on Saturday at 3pm and 1pm on Sunday and Monday until dusk each day.
On Saturday Tambourine Jerk, Dave Jackson Band and The Good Old Boys will be playing. Sunday will see Robin Bibi, Abstract Eye, 24 Carat Purple and Cool Beans.
On Bank Holiday Monday James Henton, Tim Hain Band, Wingsbanned and Travelling Shoes will be onstage.
There will be a tug o’ war competition and six-a-side cricket match.
Organiser say last year was a real success and this year should prove to be even bigger and better.
THAME Players presents The Winslow Boy by Terence Rattigan at the Players Theatre in Nelson Street, Thame at 7.45pm from September 7-11.
It tells the story of a boy expelled from Naval College for stealing a postal order and the two year fight by his father to clear his name.

GLEE for Grown-ups is coming to Wycombe which is a new workshop for adults only in music drama and acting.
The end result will be a new musical. It starts at the Wycombe Academy of Music and Art in Bridge Street on September 12 from 10.30am-12pm.
ENUMERATOR' S Tale, Muriel Catty & Audrey Gillett are giving a dramatic reconstruction of the 1851 Census at the next Bucks Family History Event.
Every one is invited on Tuesday, September 14 at the Community Centre, Wakeman Road, Bourne End at 7.30 for 7.45pm. A small donation for non-members and free car parking.
EXPERIENCE One Night in Vegas as the West End hit show comes to the Elgiva Theatre in Chesham.
The concert style show features music and dance from Las Vegas with big ballads and dancing girls.
